Our Students

We are proud of our students, who range from 3 to 25 years in age. At our prize giving each year we award those students who have excelled in their discipline, and reward classes who are punctual, well groomed and full of enthusiasm with our Class of the Year Award. We also acknowledge our Most Consciencious, Most Promising and Most Improved students with Achievement Awards.

Most Outstanding Senior Student

Michaela Downey-MacBeth

Michaela has been in the Academy for some 13 years. She is aged 17 and has many highly achieved credits to her name. She also won this prestigious Award in 2012 and this year was the winner of:

Runner Up in Grade 4 Contemporary
Most Outstanding Ballet
National Nomination for Jazz & Ballet

Chase Leathard

Chase is Victoria’s Son and has been dancing since he was 4 years old. He won this prestigious award in 2011 at 10 years of age, and again in 2012. This year he was also the winner of:

Grade 4 Ballet
Grade 5 American Jazz
Grade 3 Hip Hop
Most Outstanding Hip Hop

… and of course this year is our Most Outstanding
Junior Student.

This is selected throughout the year from all classes, Summer School and Medal Test Day. This year a group of very talented and respected members of the Academy won this prestigious award.
